VCA Ground

VCA Ground in Nagpur, Maharashtra, also known as the Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground at Jamtha, is a historic domestic cricket venue with a capacity of 30,000, owned by the Vidarbha Cricket Association. Established in 1954, the original VCA Ground hosted India vs New Zealand in October 1969 - Nagpur's first international cricket fixture - before the modern VCA Stadium was constructed in 2008. The ground produced some of India's most skilled domestic cricketers through the Vidarbha Ranji Trophy team, including Chandrakant Pandit and Wasim Jaffer, who went on to achieve national recognition. The original VCA Ground remains an important part of Nagpur's rich cricketing heritage and the Vidarbha cricket story.

It has been replaced as an international venue by the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, but continues to be used in domestic cricket by the Vidarbha and Uttar Pradesh.
